August

Kilrush Music & Set Dancing Festival

Includes three open air céilís in the town square with the Johnny Reidy Céilí Band, the Five Counties Band and The Star of Munster Band, set dancing classes, a singers club and numerous music sessions. There will also be a musicial boat trip to Scattery Island. A festival not to be missed.

Imecofarm - Family Fun Visitor Farm

Puck Fair

Killorglin, in the geographical heart of Kerry, is the venue for one of Ireland's most unusual street festivals - Puck Fair. The fair is one of Ireland's oldest and longest celebrated and is held without fail in August every year with 12 hours of free family street entertainment.

Rose of Tralee International Festival

A landmark family event on the Irish festival calendar with parades, fireworks, air display, circus, funfair, music and the selection of the Rose of Tralee.

Killarney Races

The Killarney Races provides racing, set to a backdrop of feverish, non-stop, Summer-time holiday activity. Its party time all Summer long in Killarney and there is an energy to the area that has seeped into the pores of every facet of life there. The racecourse is no exception, providing no small amount of high quality racing to fulfill the dual role of both family fun day out and satisfying punter-friendly competition.

Dingle Tradfest - Féile Trad an Daingin

An innovative Trad Fusion music festival featuring Irish and overseas acts, concerts, a session trail, mountaintop sessions and much more!

Listowel Race Festival

Tulla Traditional Music Festival

This festival celebrates all things Latin-American and was born out of the visit to Kilkee of Che Guevara in 1961.

Sneem International Focklore & Storytelling Festival

A weekend of concerts, workshops, lectures, walks and tours with a theme of folklore and storytelling for all ages. Performers from Ireland and abroad will be led by local well-known seanachai Batt Burns.
