Procedures on Boarding the Ferries

For your safety please follow the instructions of the crew at all times.
Please follow these routine procedures. 
- Single line queuing at terminal only.
- Drive slowly on slipway and on ferry.
- Put on hand brake after parking on ferry.
- Do not open car doors whilst loading is in progress.
- Fares are to be paid on board. Drivers are requested to remain in their vehicles on the ferry until ticket collector comes to collect their fare.
- Please have the exact fare ready for the ticket collector (cash or cheque only if supported by current cheque guarantee card).
- At all times ensure that children are in the company of a responsible adult.
- When leaving the ferry please follow the instructions of the crew.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden onboard the ferries.
ShannonFerry Group currently operate two purpose built ferries.
Shannon Breeze (60 cars, 350 passengers) and Shannon Dolphin (52 cars, 350 passengers) can each carry a wide variety of vehicles, commercial vehicles, coaches, caravans, camper vans and motorcycles.
