Dingle Racing Festival 2016
5th, 6th & 7th August
Ireland's Largest and Best Horse & Pony Meeting
Every year in August, the field at Ballintaggart changes into an enormous racetrack filled with horses, jockeys and horse racing enthusiasts from all over Ireland and the rest of the world. No less than 20 races are held with a total prize fund of €40,000!
Don't miss the 2016 edition and make sure you are at the Ballintaggart Racecourse in the weekend of 5th, 6th and 7th August 2016.

Puck Fair
10th - 12th August 2016
Venue: Killorglin, Co. Kerry
Puck Fair is one of Ireland's most unusual street festivals - a wild mountain goat is crowned King of the town for three days and nights. Come along to the Coronation of King Puck - all entertainment is free! Other events include a Horse Fair - a tradition which has hardly changed in four centuries; a cattle fair; over 200 trade stalls; and family fun events.

Rose of Tralee International Festival
17th - 23rd August 2016
Venue: Tralee, Co. Kerry
The Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland's largest festivals, connects the global Irish community in a carnival atmosphere of street entertainment, live music and selection of the Rose of Tralee.
Summer doesn't end until after the Rose of Tralee International Festival, which has all the ingredients for a memorable family holiday - televised Rose Selections, free outdoor street carnival, parades, funfair, circus, markets and scheduled day-trips to some cultural gems. The festival is suitable for all ages, from young age to old age, and there is something for everyone.The Rose element of the Festival is focused around the International Roses who, along with their families and friends, have travelled to Tralee from Ireland and around the world in the hope of becoming the Rose of Tralee. The Roses meet festival-goers and sign autographs daily at the daily in the town centre. 
The Street Carnival in the town centre is complimented by Dome events including concerts, fashion show and the gala Rose Ball."

Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival
25th - 28th August 2016

The Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival honours the pioneering spirit of a great film maker and advocate for social change.
We are delighted to be holding the sixth annual CCCFF in August 2016 in the beautiful village of Waterville on the Ring of Kerry in the South West of Ireland. The festival includes a hugely entertaining range of events, screenings, workshops and Chaplin themed street entertainment and much, much more. Waterville extends a very warm welcome to you all.
