Puck Fair is one of Ireland's most unusual street festivals - a wild mountain goat is crowned King of the town for three days and nights. Come along to the Coronation of King Puck - all entertainment is free! Other events include a Horse Fair - a tradition which has hardly changed in four centuries; a cattle fair; over 200 trade stalls; and family fun events.
Dingle Racing Festival 2017
11th, 12th & 13th August
Every year in August, the field at Ballintaggart changes into an enormous racetrack filled with horses, jockeys and horse racing enthusiasts from all over Ireland and the rest of the world. No less than 20 races are held with a total prize fund of €40,000!
Don't miss the 2017 edition and make sure you are at the Ballintaggart Racecourse on the weekend of 11th, 12th and 13th August 2017.
Rose of Tralee International Festival

The Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland's largest festivals, connects the global Irish community in a carnival atmosphere of street entertainment, live music and selection of the Rose of Tralee.
The festival is suitable for all ages, from young age to old age, and there is something for everyone. The Roses meet festival-goers and sign autographs daily at the daily in the town centre.
The Street Carnival in the town centre is complimented by Dome events including concerts, fashion show and the gala Rose Ball."
National Heritage Week People and Place

Every year millions of Europeans visit historical monuments and sites throughout Europe on European Heritage Days. These are a joint initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Union in which over forty countries participate each year. The main aim of European Heritage Days are to promote awareness of our built, natural and cultural heritage and to promote Europe’s common cultural heritage. In Ireland we celebrate European Heritage Days with a full week of events throughout National Heritage Week.
Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival

The Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival honours the pioneering spirit of a great film maker and advocate for social change.
We are delighted to be holding thel CCCFF in August 2017 in the beautiful village of Waterville on the Ring of Kerry in the South West of Ireland.
