Valentia Island King Scallop Festival 09 - 10 July 2016
The Valentia Island King Scallop Festival,promises visitors scrumptious food in beautiful secluded scenery.
Entertainment will include live music, busking, fishing and sports competitions. A number of family oriented events will take place such as face painting, scallop-shell painting and a kid's duathlon. Valentia Island is a small island ensuring an intimate and relaxing event.

Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2016

Welcome to Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2016 which will be held in the stunning settings of Listowel, Co. Kerry. The town is widely regarded as the home of the Fleadh, as it has a proud record of hosting fourteen hugely successful All-Ireland Fleadhanna, most recently, in 2002.

The organising committee headed up by Cathaoirleach na Fleidhe Eoin Moriarty and Runaí na Fleidhe Maria O'Gorman are working hard to organise an action-packed programme of events for the Fleadh. These will include a wide selection of outdoor and indoor concerts and events, céilithe, workshops, sessions, exhibitions and most importantly the Munster Fleadh competitions where competitiors from the six counties of Munster will compete for a place in the 2016 All-Ireland Fleadh in Ennis.

Run Killarney Marathon Saturday 23 July 2016
"The Run Killarney Marathon - Kerry's premier running festival - takes place this July with a full Marathon, Half Marathon or a 10K race is suitable for all levels of fitness. The event is open to everyone - walkers, newcomers and people who just want a challenge and a great day out. The routes give competitors the chance to run one of the world's most breath-taking and scenic marathons through Muckross House and Killarney National Park.

Sneem Family Festival 20 - 24 July 2016
The Sneem Family Festival has something for everyone!
Sneem Family Festival is a must for families in July! Kicking off with a children's fancy dress parade, the kids can then bounce in the green while you sit back and enjoy the village barbeque.  Take to the mountains and enjoy breath-taking scenery on daily guided walks; and take part in a workshop (available for children and adults). For the more competitive among you, there are fun runs, football blitz, sheaf tossing, tractor backing, golf competitions, and, of course, the annual Wife-Carrying Competition. Help raise much needed funds with the Annual Sunset Walk or bid for a hand painted piece of furniture that's a work of art in the charity auction.
