From 1st October there will be one ferry operating with sailings from Killimer to Tarbert every hour on the hour from 7am to 7pm and from Tarbert to Killimer every hour on the half hour from 7.30am to 7.30pm. Sunday sailings commence 2 hours later.

The Burren in Bloom Festival features a series of illustrated talks and organised walks throughout the month of May in the Burren. The festival gives people an understanding and appreciation of the Burren and its formation, and how it continues to be a source of
great botanical, archaeological, and cultural wealth with its unique wild flowers and ancient sites.

Father Ted Festival
30th April - 1st May
A festival of all things Father Ted, there will be location tours, a visit to the Parochial House, Lovely Girls contest, Golden Cleric awards, and loads of craic and musical entertainment.

Carrigaholt Oyster & Shellfish Festival
29th April - 1st May
Visit Carrigaholt over the May Bank Holiday weekend and experience delicious seafood and compete in our Oyster shucking and Oyster Eating Competition. Book a table for our Craft Beer and Shellfish night or enjoy traditional Irish music in the local pubs while enjoying complimentary oysters.

Darkness into Light is a symbolic run/walk starting in darkness and ending as the dawn is rising symbolising hope.
The event starts at 4.15am at a location in each town (Friday night/Saturday morning).
This is a flagship fundraising event for Pieta House which is a centre for the prevention of suicide and self harm.
