Our Winter sailing schedule commenced on Monday 1st October, sailings from Killimer Co. Clare every hour on the hour from 7am to 7pm and sailings from Tarbert Co. Kerry every hour on the half hour from 7.30am to 7.30pm. Sunday Sailings commence 2 hours later, first sailing from Killimer is 9am and from Tarbert 9.30am.

What if the weather is bad?

As we operate in the sheltered Shannon Estuary we are seldom affected by bad weather but please check our "Live Update" bar above and our social media for up to date travel information when the weather is bad.

How long is the ferry crossing?

The ferry crossing takes approximately 20 minutes.

I heard on the news that ferry sailings are cancelled - does that include Shannon Ferries?

News reports usually only refer to the main ferry ports serving Ireland.  It is advisable to  view our "Live Update" bar above and our Social Media outlets for the latest sailing information.  

What if I do not have my ticket when I board the ferry?

If you do not have your ticket when on board the ferry you will have to purchase another ticket.

Your Ticket will be sent via email to the email address that you specified when purhasing your ticket. This ticket must display a valid machine readable barcode for it to be accepted when you are on board the ferry, this must be in printed form or on your mobile device.

Please ensure you have purchased the correct ticket type as any fare difference will be payable on board the ferry,without discount.
