LISDOONVARNA MATCHMAKING FESTIVAL
LISDOONVARNA
4th SEPTEMBER  - 30TH SEPTEMBER 2020
The Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival, one of Irelands oldest traditional festivals takes place in the small spa town on the Wild Atlantic Way every September.  The festival is over 160 years old attracting up to 60,000 people from all over the world who come for the music, dancing and craic.  Top music stars Mike Denver, Derek Ryan, Nathan Carter, Michael English, Johnny Brady ad Barry Kirwan can be seen at this years festival.  Its a month long feast of music, dancing and craic in venues all over town, with third generation marchmaker Willie Daly aroung to bring hopeful singles together.

SEAFOOD IN SEPTEMBER

An annual festival to celebrate all things seafood.  All produce taken from the waters of Loop Head and cooked to represent the nature of its surroundings.  A gala seafood buffet on the Saturday night is the highlight of the weekend.  Craft beers, shellfish, music and a good craic,what more could you ask for.
